Head of OCS in Ural region, Mr. Igor Vladimirovich Dubrovkin welcomed the participants and opened the meeting. He highlighted issues and challenges caused by the pandemic. He also mentioned other issues that negatively affect supply chains and jeopardize delivery time. Above that, Igor Vladimirovich noticed that in the current context, sales of equipment is driven by a software that benefits end customers. Integrators that focus on sale of software like MPI take an advantage in equipment market as well.
A representative of Zebra gave an overview of equipment for industrial companies. Guests familiarized with technical innovations of reputable manufacturer of equipment for automatic identification.
Director for Business Development Azar Imailov shared a report about modern technologies of event recording. He also demonstrated a business-case about taking a management decisions basing on data collected from MPI on the example of metal-processing company Eurostal.
A lot of interest received a simulation, which provided the participants an opportunity to manage the processes of:
- material acceptance to stock using mobile terminal and mobile printer;
- picking of goods using industrial headset display;
- start up and completion of tasks using industrial tablet and scanner;
- quality control using mobile terminal;
MPI Director of Technology Artyom Kozhemyakin talked about issues in price cost calculation and possible solutions using Auto ID equipment.
